How did Polkadot try to manipulate its price?

Somewhere between busted sponsorship deals and stealth ads

Just as some people are proclaiming that the crypto bull run has kicked off with Trump’s election, the shovel sellers (and their affiliates) are out in force to fleece the marks.

A good moment, then, to put out this newsletter, which was meant to follow the one on Blast (in French). But because of the sheer violence of their reaction, which went from weeks of harassment to legal harassment, and took me to court for the 3rd time in 2 months ten days ago, I had shelved it.

Some of the information is a few months old by now, but the substance hasn’t changed, and it shows how some cryptos are entirely manipulated, in a perfectly illegal way. All under cover of an ecosystem that would rather tell you to “do your own research”.

One of conspiracy theorists’ favourite lines.

You can also donate here. It’s entirely optional, and best of all Substack doesn’t take 10% and Stripe doesn’t take 3% 😅.

Before diving in, let me take the chance to plug A Free Lunch, a new daily newsletter, Monday to Friday, that sums up financial, property and economic news, in the same tone.
